Solana approaching all time highs, glad I loaded up after the ftx debacle.
Same, but I paperhanded at 40-60ish. IMO it will go way higher than its ATH this cycle.

Meanwhile ETH draggin arse
It's infuriating. I bought some leveraged long ETH ETFs last week and I'm getting killed.

ETH historically does not run with btc. Only after btc peaks

ETH is missing the key things that make btc interesting to me. I think utility is probably the lowest value marker on the totem pole.

Options have been added to IBIT this morning. Looking forward to watching some of the flows come in today. I don't see options added for FBTC though.

I am just looking at the options chain on think or swim. Not sure if they will start trading right at open or wait until later in the day. I will try to come back and post some larger trades at the end of the day, I am sure there will be several

Would you mind walking me through how I can sell puts and make some yield on my IBIT?
Let's say I have $1,000,000 in IBIT.
I would be more than happy to purchase Bitcoin at 50% of todays value.
What sort of yield could I expect roughly? Do you think 10% a year is possible?

I do:
current market price is 52.56
So an ATM 53 put is selling for $340 (bid) - $400 (ask)
ATM 52 Call for $410 bid 440 ask

If you are convinced Bitcoin will not go down between now and December 20th, 2024, you could be selling $52 Puts for ~$330 as of today
December 20th 2024 is the only (eta: 2024) Expiry available for IBIT at the moment

The lowest strike for Jan on IBIT is 30 and you can only sell that for like .15c. IBIT trading around 52. I don't see much value there. If you have 1 mil in IBIT i would look at selling calls against your position if looking for a yield. Just pick a strike you are comfortable getting called away at, can always roll out and up and don't have to sell calls against your entire position. The Jan 70s are trading 1.30ish, thats a roughly 50% move from here in less than 2 months and with that size position collecting decent premium.
That's my way to quick analysis. Can always pick a lower strike and get an even better premium. Really just depends where youre comfortable getting called away at or rolling out and up if don't want to get called away.
Selling puts would be more for establishing a position, selling at where you are comfortable getting assigned the shares. Thats how I view that strategy at least.

In and out of IBIT calls. Trying to sell BTC futures @ $93,750. Hopefully hit the upside and downside both today.

Check that, $94K BTC November Futures. Not sure spot got to $94K. Weird position being both long and short BTC at the moment.
Regarding the other thread I had thought the gentleman that posted early on here sold fairly early. WiliTiger of whoever that was.
Bad karma to be baiting BTC non believers in any event. The best revenge is just to make money.
