So why did I get added and then subsequently removed if it’s open?

Haven't been that far East yet. Closest was Anaheim. Outside of going to downtown for games or a concert or something, I pretty much stay in my bubble between Hermosa and Manhattan Beach areas.

That’s a nice area. I work somewhat frequently in Redondo.

I like Redondo. Have a friend that lives there actually. It's crazy how Redondo, Hermosa, and Manhattan all have different vibes.

You're buying ICX but it's technically an ERC token on Binance right now. They are the ICX tokens, but since ICX doesn't have it's own network right now they're using the ethereum network. There will be a coinswap when ICX transfers over to it's own network (mainnet) and all of the ERC tokens will be traded in 1 for 1 for ICX mainnet tokens

Mainnet switch is coming up. Speculation is this will drive the price to $20+ range.

Summit info

I am averaged in at $7.26 per coing right now.

I'm confused. I thought ICON wasn't releasing until Jan 24th? You can buy it now? Where?

And will it at any point be available through Coinbase or no?

Stout, should I be concerned with leaving coins/money on Poloniex, or should I move coins immediately to my ether wallet?

Stout, as a real estate guy, I'm curious what your thoughts are on REX. Give it a look when able.

Discliamer: I already own.

So I'll have to set up another crypto coin management account? Ugh.......took two days to get the deposits to show to link my bank account on Coinbase.

So this is ICON's own buy/sell engine? Will it be the only place to do it?

Binance is a crypto to crypto exchange. It's much quicker than coinbase.

Coinbase likes to frick you but unfortunately is one of the few trustworthy crypto to fiat exchanges. I have been considering moving my business to Gemini, though.

Set up two. Go to GDAX .com and input your coinbase info, they are the same company. Transfer your funds to GDAX, then to Binance. Try to use ETH and LTC only, BTC takes too long and has more fees. Doing this will save you money on fees, and it only adds a few more minutes to the process.

I'm new to this whole thing, so bear with me. I've got a few thousand I could drop into any of these and looking for the best short-term option. I've only perused the ICON press release and other information from a couple of pages back, but it would seem to be a promising option for what I need. That said, I'm still not clear on how to buy it. Binance shows different "versions" of ICX available (attached to BTC, ETH, etc.). I also read a little on how to exchange coin-to-coin, but does it all require you to download an app to your PC and keep things backed up on physical hard drives? I'm not really keen on all of that. Would much rather be able to transact in the cloud only.

No it’s an ERC20 coin right now on 3thereum. ICON is launching their own mainnet on the 24th. So the coins won’t be ethereum ERC20.

Buy on binance under ICX.

What kind of fees are typically charged? If I transfer some ETH from coinbase directly to Binance vs going coinbase->gdax->binance, that is more costly?

If you have it on binance, they will take care of it. It will be a 1 for 1.
