I searched but didn't find anything on these Defiance ETFs. I'm thinking about selling some VTI and splitting it between these (mostly in AIPO). The holdings are at the bottom of the linked pages.

AIPO
quote:

Index tracks U.S.-listed companies deriving at least 50% of their revenue from artificial intelligence hardware, data centers, power infrastructure, or related sectors.

JEDI
quote:

Index includes companies publicly traded on recognized global exchanges in developed markets that derive at least 50% of total revenue from one or more of the following areas: military drones; AI-driven warfare and military IT; unmanned systems; electronic and communication warfare; ISR; space warfare, military satellites, and missile solutions; military cybersecurity; and military robotics.

QTUM
quote:

Tracks liquid companies in the global quantum computing and machine learning industries, including products and services related to quantum computing or machine learning

SIXG
quote:

Index is a thematic index tracking the performance of US-listed companies offering hardware, software, or services to the rollout of 5G, or 6G networks, and other connective technologies.

Probably follows the ARK path, the managers making bank on high expense ratios and fees for people chasing the next big thing

I bailed on QTUM around 80 a few months ago and now it’s 115 so, there’s definitely opportunity to make money if you pick the right sector.

Keep in mind, that capital put into pltr, QBTS, ionq or rgti would have yielded larger gains, though.

The actively managed ETFs are getting out of control. I remember when ARKX came out and everyone was like wtf does caterpillar and John Deere have to do with space exploration.

These funds all seem to have the same play book.

1 big year 2 bad years 3 flat years. Rinse, repeat.
