Question about QQQ on Schwab vs Robinhood

First of all, I’m new to this. I bought some QQQ on RH. A month later, I opened an account of Schwab and bought on there also.
A couple of things I noticed
1. On RH, it seems like I can buy fractional share whereas ok Schwab I can not. I even called customer service and they said I can not.
2. On RH, it seems like the the QQQ price continues to go up and down after the end of day while on Schwab, it does not.
What are the reasons for this?

Schwab is basically the regional bank of trading platforms. I’ve had an account for 15 years and the platform is almost the exact same as it was then. It’s pretty unbelievable how little they’ve invested in their product.

Schwab has a setting for after hours trading that you can toggle on or off. It’s on their mobile app and I assume it’s on their website as well. I can execute trades after hours or morning hours as well. I assume you can too but sometimes they make you sign forms for changing settings in your account profile, depending on the type of account.

Schwab doesn't support purchase of fractional ETF shares. They do have "stock slices" but that's just individual stocks specifically those in S&P 500 I think.

No recurring buys for equities and ETFs. No 24 hour trading. No bitcoin buying. The transaction history only goes back like 2 years. They restrict what you buy, when you can buy and how you buy it. About a year ago I noticed that i was selecting lots to be sold and it wasn’t following the directions. It’s just all shite.
I have three accounts with them so it’s on me
Just thought they’d adapt a bit more.

How would that work? QQQ closed at 568 today. Right now it’s 575 after hours on RH. So when the next day trading starts, what would the price be?

The markets are nearly 24/7 now.
Especially QQQ. META earnings lifted the whole sector during after hours.

You can trade from 6am until 7pm central on Schwab. They do not have 24 hour trading like RH.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s a function of their payment for flow arrangement. I’ve seen a couple people question the RH bid/ask spreads recently compared to other platforms.

After hours trading ends at 8 pm EST for both Schwab and RH.
To sell AH on Schwab click on the trade link and enter the stock. Click sell then under timing click extended trade. I sold some TSLA around 6 pm cst so I know it works.
Just query Grok or Google AI if you need more deets.
