If you’re getting a W-2 and a 1099 from the same company, you’re most likely going to get flagged

Why don't we all take our wages and run them through LLCs?
Because employers have to pay employees via w-2. Employers are pretty strict on who is contractors because the IRS has cracked down on that.
No way they allow regular pay via w-2 and bonus via contract.
