This guy, Michael Pettis, is pretty good about understanding the full situation. He’s been on CNBC a couple times and is active on twitter. He’s an analyst in Beijing I believe? But an American.
He argues that this is really beneficial for the USD.
Anyway, this was written back in October but the points still remain of the issues the Chinese face.

Hard to take the guy serious when his entire business is selling precious metals. His entire Twitter feed is fear mongering, which isn't surprising since it is good for business. He is clearly pro gold and anti basically everything else.

I don't disagree he is a gold bug but what did he say that you disagree with?
Central banks are acquiring gold really fast. Only makes sense we should be doing it as well.
I don't own any gold but this interview is making me reconsider.
