Sweet, thanks for the link. Tell me more about Fed's successes against Nadal on clay. I mean, surely have you more of these and great accompanying data as well, right? Or why would you have even bothered linking it?
Oh, that's right. This is what you do. You unknowingly underscore how bad your position is while trying to actually advance that position. Keep on keeping. on.

Please tell me how they are even on hard courts, and Federer is ahead in grass
And tell me how almost 50% of Nadal's wins come with fed at 29+ years old, the age at which nadal went to shite
Say it!!!! Say it!!!!

I'll find all that data for you after you kindly remind me what their H2H is when playing on outdoor courts.
Hint: it's focking comical

Again, to all reading, please note that this is absolutely classic lsupride on this argument.
"Hey let's start by glorifying Fed beating a 30 year old Nadal, then point to their H2H when Fed was 29+ as being meaningful."
Classic. Freaking. Pride.
And this is the problem, and we could go on for days and each and every second of those days you will continually be making arguments against yourself unknowingly. Rinse. Lather. Repeat. You have no other options. And why?

Isner loses in the quarters to unseeded Escobedo in a 250 US tournament.
The next generation of US players can't get here soon enough. Escobedo looked sharp.

Congrats to Borna Coric, on his first ATP title.
ETA: And to Stevie Johnson, on his second.

Saw that. All of the US men (n-1) will be out by the first round.

Rafa on Roger:
Not unfair.
quote:
"Roger is playing two to three shots, trying to play more aggressive than before," he said. "He probably knows that on clay, that is more difficult. I wouldn't say it's impossible, but it's much more difficult. I believe that he really does not want to change his mentality, and playing on clay probably makes you change something.
"So I think he is more focused on what he has to do, to be competitive, to be healthy and to keep playing that well. He is focused on doing what is working well for him."
Not unfair.

Simon served for the match today against Nole. He's still a bit of a head case right now. Can't wait for Zverev v Nadal.

What has happened to Djokovic? He's nowhere near top form.

Why did this thread all of a sudden become a ghost town? Was it the argument between pride and I? Should we have a separate thread devoated solely to Federer v. Nadal arguments? I know they get contentious, which is inconsistent with the more friendly tenor of this thread.
So, sorry if I scared peeps away. But come on now, we're in the middle of a great Masters 1000 tournament. This is what this thread was made for.

I watched every match from both Houston and Morocco. Stevie J's results exceed his game and I mean that as a compliment.
