Hidden scroll in race 4. Heavy favorite, not great in fla derby but was one time top 5 derby futures odds for this year. Looks like he didn’t even qualify

I think he’ll actually end up a really good late summer horse and maybe a top 3 year old once all is said and done.

Zorb could be a value pick in race 4. Son of Orb who won Kentucky Derby in 2013.

He fractured a sesamoid this week and is retired. Too bad, he was a cool horse. No repeat winner this year.

Happy derby!! I am a casual pony fan and only watch/bet on the big races. Last year was easy to bet, just rode justify hard in all three triple crown events. This year seems much tighter, esp with the fave getting scratched.
My question is, how good are the favorites? What will your bets be for the main race? Do any of the longshots have a chance? Thanks in advance, lots of good info in here.

Game Winner will be there at the end. He ran well last year at Churchill winning the BC Juvenile. Don’t know if Roadster will get the distance but he is a very good horse. Tacitus is getting a lot of love from the Blood Horse Handicappers. I will put money on Win Win Win. If he can get a descent start and get close he will have a good chance to be in the money. Also his grandsires are two of my favorites of all time Sunday Silence and Smarty Jones. He will be at a good price.
I am far from a good handicapper this is just my two cents.
Check back during the day Aspy and the guys that are good handicappers will post through out the day.
