He got injured in the Arkansas State game and was basically immobile the last three games of the season. He still doesn't look 100%.

Hopefully things can keep getting better with Anderson at the helm next season. I really liked what I saw from the backup QB so maybe he'll do well next season.

Man, I wish there was a halfway decent game on Christmas Eve. Not even NFL. nothing to watch at all.

You may not be interested in either of the teams playing today, but you have no idea if it's going to be a "decent game" or not. A lot of people watch random bowl games in the hopes of seeing some entertaining football.
One thing I can tell you, is that tonight's bowl game is one where both teams are happy to be there and happy to be playing each other, and local fans will be interested in the game as well. The two head coaches were teammates at Hawaii, and Rolovich is also a former head coach at Hawaii. Cal's star freshman QB was a star high school QB in Hawaii. This is one of the few non-CFP bowl games that has a lot of good vibes around it.

The bowl pickems are so damn tough. Never know who shows up. I got Cal so of course they’ll lose.

The flip in the end zone doesn't get you an unsportsmanlike penalty, but taking your helmet off going to the sidelines does.
