13 point win over Old Dominion probably vaults IU above LSU tbh

one of the easiest regular season schedules in college football history. No one other than lonely trolls will compare this team to 2019 LSU team.

If Indiana beats Miami by double digits you will see every single media outlet discussing it

Holy recency bias. First off, they haven't won yet.

They can claim whatever they want if they are the first undefeated 12 team playoff champ.

But the schedules are not the same. Only thing you can definitively say is IU defense is statistically better. That's it.

Pretty damn similar

2 Miami
3 Oregon
3 Oregon
5 Ohio State
11 bama
19 Iowa
24 Illinois

LSU beat

2-Clemson
4-UGA
6-Florida
7-Oklahoma
8–bama
14-Auburn
25-Texas

same shite people said about 2019 lsu

If Indiana finishes it they are right there with 19 lsu and 95 Nebraska with teams that played multiple top 10 opponents and dominated their schedule overall. Period

Anyone who says it isn’t close and thinks they are definitively correct either way is simply emotional. It’s three teams that played top competition and as a whole rolled them

Those rankings are not even consistent
LSU has end of season rankings - that is mixing up all kinds of things in the IU ranking system

They are NOT similar

What an average schedule. Miami team with 3 losses.
Same average Oregon team twice who has a total of zero national championships in their programs history.
Alabama worst team in a while.
LOL iowa. Les Miles made iowa offense look like fantastic
Illinois the most overrated team this year with all the hype.

LSUpride87 is a dumbass

Also even if IU crushes Miami, the fact they needed a miracle comeback against a terrible Penn St team immediately disqualifies them

2019 LSU opponents never had the ball with a chance to take the lead in the 4th quarter

2025 IU can have a seat at the table - they would be one of the greatest teams ever no doubt, but not THE greatest

LSU had three one possession games

Such a disingenuous argument here. 0 snaps by opposing teams in the 4th quarter with a chance to tie or take the lead.

In the semifinals against OU LSU won 63-14

You think Indiana will hit that tonight?

Your wording certainly looks like you think you’re “definitively correct”

And 95 Nebraska never had a single one possession game while lsu had 3

Nebraska only actually had one game that was within TWO possessions ….
