Sun is still on but condensed schedule
Honestly. Not sure why Nascar avoids Super bowl. Lots of people want to avoid SB but no other sport wants to compete. I think there are at least 5% of viewers who would watch racing instead if on. And 5% is around 5m viewers which is high for Nascar. Super Bowl has worn out its welcome and especially this year with the music selection people will avoid it. Enough to get good alternate numbers.
Problem is Nascar is on Fox and so is SB.

I live in Winston-Salem. The infield is dry and painted and the stands have been cleared since the ice storm. Everyone is here. We’re supposed to get up to 5” of dry powdery snow. The plan is to clear it continuously throughout the storm on Saturday.
There might not be many fans in attendance but NASCAR isn’t worried about the 17k tickets sold. They’ll still get the TV money.
Sucks for the fans and town. There are NASCAR banners on the light poles downtown and a handful of canceled events downtown. Last year was really cool That many cars on a football field is definitely an experience,

I live a few miles from Bowman Gray. We have 6” of snow and expect it to continue snowing until about midnight. They’re estimating we get 1” each hour until then.

This. However, with the Super Bowl being a week later than it used to be it’s now a week before the Daytona 500, which is when the Clash would be run when it was at Daytona and part of Speedweeks. So, I don’t think they’ll move it back to Daytona.
