They can have Mizzou

I prefer tradition. I'm jealous of what my dad had growing up with all those rivaliries when I'm stuck with this shite with the Huskers in the Big 10. I fricking hate being in the Big 10. And the Husker fans who say they love it are full of shite. They had no choice but to leave though. Texas was insufferable.

If I am the Big Ten I would go after Mizzou and Kentucky HARD. It is well known that Mizzou wanted a B10 invite but settled for the SEC when that didn't happen. B10 is a much better long term fit for them.
Kentucky has been a member for a very long time, but lets face it...they are a basketball school in a football crazed conference. They don't have anyone else in the SEC that is even comparable. They are alone on an island. They are like if Alabama was in the ACC or the old Big East. And UK could actually build a football program in the B10 instead of constantly being pounded in the SEC.
Plus....SEC has no buyout.

I'd rather take OU over Kentucky. OU and Mizzou would be a wet dream for me.

And let's be honest Mizzou was never SEC material to begin with.
Come home Mizzou.
Come home Mizzou.

Just stop already with the USNews Rankings. They don't mean a goddamn thing.

And it gets rid of our Yankee schools. A win\win for both conferences I must say.

Please God let them take Mizzou.

I know if we get the opportunity we have to take it, but I really hope it doesn't happen. The Big XII isn't what it used to be, but I grew up on it and watching KU play in the B1G would just be weird.

You don't know WTF you're blabbering about. Typical millennial.
Nebraska voted for unequal television revenue sharing as well as the individual schools retaining third-tier rights.
The first part of that is self-explanatory. The second part means that Nebraska didn't want a conference network, either.
When Nebraska wasn't winning as much, meaning they didn't get more of the TV pie because they played in the prime spots, they started bitching.
Duplicity, thy name is Dr. Tom.

the media considers uva a better school than baylor or vt because it has a transgender studies department. if you want a conservative and christian education and environment or study a real major like engineering or biology, then baylor and vt are much better schools.

When did UNC ever have a rivalry with them?
Maryland fans were always sore about that. It was an entirely one sided rivalry.

Would you prefer the SEC?
I just don't see UVA choosing to go to the SEC if offered a spot in the Big10, but I also don't know any UVA alums either.
Which would you choose?

I know a certain "Tier 1" research university located in the heart of the nation's fourth largest city, home to the nation's top high school talent, that would be champing at the bit to help the Big 10 expand its footprint in a big, big way.

I'm hoping for the remote possibility that the Big Ten (and ACC) destroys itself somehow and Penn State rejoins our true home with Pitt, Syracuse, WVU, VA Tech and Notre Dame (others include BC, Temple, UConn, and Rutgers).
The Big Ten kind of sucks, but we were basically forced to join. It was that or the abortion that was the Big East
