Jealousy
Turning saints into the sea
Swimming through sick lullabies
Choking on your alibi
But it's just the price I pay
Destiny is calling me
Open up my eager eyes
'Cause I'm Mr. Brightside
frick KU!
frick KU!
frick KU!

I like Penn State’s Seven Nation Army chant.

Remember the first time I heard that song. Had just gotten back from the bar and thrown on MTVU for some late night music. Everyone was like, "Holy shite, this song is awesome."
Was having a conversation with my wife recently and she said she thinks it was the song of the decade.

Isn't that a song about catching your girl boning another dude?

The Killers are to Americans in the mid-late 00s what Oasis was to the Brits in the mid-late 90s..
Just an incredibly unique band that made art that is better consumed by joyous large crowds and gatherings than alone on headphones. A true gem of a band.

"Summer of 69" needs to have a home for something like this. Next time you hear it somewhere in public, look around and see how virtually everyone is singing along and bobbing their head

But to me that "art that is better consumed by joyous large crowds and gatherings than alone on headphones" still means Phish lol

Then "Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay" comes on over the intercom. A minute later, I look around and see everyone grooving in their seats, singing with their travel companions, parents laughing at their kids dancing, etc. Folks not even aggravated with other people's kids dancing in the aisles lol. All races, ages, genders recognized it. Everyone had a moment together.
I turned to my now-wife and said (paraphrasing), "Apparently Otis Redding transcends all cultural boundaries and contemporaneous troubles."

I guess I’m the only one that doesn’t know who that band is or the song. So, who?

I’ve never liked this song while bitches lose their mind over it. Music is good when there are changes throughout the song. This song starts, plays, and finishes and sounds the same the entire way through. There’s no variation in sound to make it interesting.

Yeah it might as well be rap music with one note repeated over and over and over.

A great band and awesome in concert.

I’ve never understood why people pick this song to sing at games unless our country has this many cucks. Makes sense for Michigan in that context

Glad there’s somebody in the world who gets it. It’s trash from a structural standpoint.

No. I just looked it up.
I was right. He caught his girl with another man and it created extreme feelings of jealousy and paranoia.
The thing he is saying are from a sense of hurt and pain, not lust.
On a side note. . .
Has anyone noticed this site is obsessed with the idea of cuckoldry for some reason?
-Everything is about cucks.
-I don't like that guy, cuck
-He votes different from me, cuck
-He disagrees with me, cuck
-dude likes something that isn't super masculine? He wants to see his girl frick other dudes.
It is a little weird. I regret if I played any part in creating that environment, but I don't think I have.

Its a catchy tune, but I have no idea why its played at sporting events. There's like 1000000000 other songs that are better suited for that.

are there other songs you can play? Sure.
100000000 that are better suited? The proof is in the pudding. In this scenario, the pudding is in the video.
