Ah yes, I had updated that and then closed the window without saving. I will take Bing. The Danes may just be too hot, though. That would change the 15's and 16's up a bit

Well the Danes then got bounced by UMBC, the 6 seed. Danes, Retrievers...same difference, right?

But I agree. Binghamton. Kornheiser will be happy.

Who ya got tonight?

I'm taking Charleston (only because my girl is a CofC alum and I loved visiting her there, but now a proud LSU grad student), VCU, Gonzaga and Siena (close).

Should be four fantastic games.

If Chattanooga does win, I think they will be making a Tuesday trip to Dayton...at least unless some other scrub beats them to it.

They would be 18-16 with not anything good on their résumé.

I am not that confident in OSU at this time

I'm pretty confident we'll make it, even if we lose to Wisky. Of course, like I've mentioned, that could all change depending upon who wins the conf tourneys. But, there's no way we're a 9 seed (right now), like tress4pres said.

Buckeyes are in for sure as long s they don't lose two in a row. I think they'll end up pulling a split and that's safe enough.

225's been on point with his game-call selections tonight. I'm switching from Zags and Gaels to Niagara and Sienna. St. Mary's surely didn't need to choke like this on a big stage. Luckily, the Zags are number-friendly respected on that ranking, rpi, and SOS.

Well, then if that's the case, I'll be willing to bet a million dollars for a quarter we're in.

When I actually put teams on their seeding lines, I had Providence as an 11 and St. Mary's as a 12.

However, bracket protocols (mainly keeping conference teams apart until the regional final if possible) forced me to swap their positions.

Providence is actually rated higher than St. Mary's, but the seeding doesn't reflect that. May seem ridiculous, but it's actually very common, especially in the lower part of the bracket.

Of all the teams we could be playing in the second round, Washington isn't the worst matchup for us. We guard the perimeter fairly well, but would just need to contain Brockman, which could be a bit tricky.

Washington is ridiculously quick, but I think LSU could hold up well there.

I'm not so sure. Brockman was already a bitch two years ago. Wonder if we'd stick Temple on I. Thomas?

The committee can move a team up or down one seed line in order to prevent teams from the same conferences appearing in the same 8-team segment of a bracket.
