Bracket updating time. Suffice it to say the opening-round game in the WAC isn't going to have an effect.

I am taking Providence out. They got fricked. They get to play an irrelevant DePaul and then play L'ville.

Yeah, I was looking at that too. They may be my last team in.

Pisces, you still have Charleston in there. Should be Chattanooga. And, unless something else changes, they will be the SWAC's opponent in Dayton. 18-16 with a shite résumé will do that.

Without completely redoing my brackets, I think this upset kicks out St Mary's. Cleveland St slots in as a 13 and WKU gets promoted to a 12. I had Butler as a 7, I'll hold off sliding them to an 8 until I see how the 8's do in their respective conference tourneys.

I was just getting ready for my day and eating my Cinnamon Toast Crunch, when I saw that the 'Nooga was an auto bid and then I thought to myself, "225 is gonna let me know about that when I get on the Rant in 3 minutes."
Got em in though.

That's how I have been doing, but by Saturday, I am going to have to erase, rewind, and do over - hopefully keeping much of mine the same.
I have Portland State playing in Portland...that probably isn't an accepted code of bracketology, but hell, they're playing Washington, who will bring more fans than they will. If UNC and Duke get to play in Greensboro, why not? In any case, I will have to move them later when I get more time to review.

Automatic bids from the minor conferences make it hell to do this thing.

Auburn has to win how many in the SEC tourney to get in?

at least one, but I have UF putting them out in first round.
Posted on 3/11/09 at 9:50 am to PiscesTiger
So if AU beats UF, you think that by itself is enough?
Posted on 3/11/09 at 9:54 am to PiscesTiger
So Oklahoma State, a 9 seed, is one of the last 5 in, while Arizona, a 12 seed, isn't one of the last 5 in?
I appreciate all the work you do on this, but can't we just get a link to Joe Lunardi's work?
