But you guys are making the mistake of comparing UConn to Pitt for a 1 seed.
You have to compare UConn to Michigan State and Memphis, the contenders for the last top seed.

So far, anyway. The way Championship Week has gone so far, I wouldn't be the least suprised to see Michigan State not win the Big 10 tournament.

1) Penn State is going to be out after Purdue dropped a deuce on them.
2) Kentucky - HAHAHAHAHA
3) South Carolina - gonna be tight. Maybe just on the wrong side.
4) Ohio State = lock; Wisconsin still in
5) American clinched Patriot League
6) Michigan - should still be in despite loss to Illinois
7) Temple/Duquesne - The Atlantic 10 steals a bid from the bubble pool
8) Utah State - survived an almighty scare from New Mexico State. The WAC remains a one-bid league - for now.
9) San Diego State = LOCK after a big win over BYU
10) Maryland - eeeehhhh...we'll see at the end of the night
