I have never had an issue with tiered rates which is something every course I know does. I am surprised by anyone who doesn't do this. Someone in the summertime playin at 8 am should pay more than someone playing at 11. Should be two completely different segments of inventory or you aren't maximizing revenue. Either charging to little at 8 or charging to high at 11 and getting zero Golfer's.

Not saying it doesn't happen from time to time but this isn't what put the courses in the red. It's paying a crew, buying gas, sand, and chemicals, and maintaining equipment to mow an outdated course that gets minimal play.
All the costs that courses incur to exist have gone up and will continue to go up. The fees and demand are out of wack right now.
