Who? i havent been able to keep up with him that much. and dont even mention tha "Maine-eac" that doesnt count.
He finished Slyvia in thirty seconds. Took Randy five rounds. He also destroyed Arlovski. Barnett may be his biggest challenge.

Randy domminated Tim and Arlosky is not the same fighter since he began to shave his chest and speak english!!!! Fedor is not fighting the real and new tallent out there in MMA. Randy fought Brock...held his own till he got dingged. But that is how it goes. My whole arguement is he may have lost a step...cant tell cus he is fighting has-beens.
Big names who are past their prime...after he fights Barnet how bout he fights Coleman or Rizzo?

Coleman is in contract with the UFC. Rizzo will prolly get dropped by Affliction. After Barnett, he will have wiped out the HWs not in UFC. I agree. He will have to make the jump to the UFC after Barnett. There will be no one left for him to fight.

That is my point....he fights to pad his legacy and i understand that. But who is the last person he fought that you were thinkin that they had the potential to beat him?

I don't think anyone can beat him inside and outside the UFC. Best bet would be Barnett IMO. Then maybe Mir. His best fights were Cro-Cop and Big Nog (I and II).

Brock
Mir
Randy
Nog
Velasquez
Carwin
Arlovski just got KOed by Bret Rogers in 10 seconds and Sylvia got KOed by someone Kimbo beat. Add in their Fedor fights and they've both been KOed in the first round in their last 2 fights, Sylvia was submitted in his 3rd to last fight. Sylvia definitely would not be top 5 UFC, Arlovski would be in the 6-10 range with Dos Santos, Gonzaga, Werdum, Kongo.

Ramp....thanks for having this debate with me. I have tried to post on the other boards and if you arent in the clikc you get bashed for your opinion or they dont even respond.
back to this debate...i want to see him fight someone who is actual contender. Barnet is his biggest challenge so far this year. i cant take anything away from him anything he has accoplished, but would he be so dominant if he were in the cage?

up to the Fedor fight, both fighters were highly ranked. that was my point.

I really don't know. It would prolly be some getting used to but I think he'd adjust.

its not like he is Cro Cop are something. UFC rules/cage might just suit Fedor even better. He is a beast in ground and pound without even being allowed to throw elbows in Japan.

What do u think about that? The Japs don't mind stepping on someone's face but heaven forbid there be any blood.

i'd rather the US used those rules too but it would look too barbaric for the regulators. Purposely cutting with elbows like Florian and Loiseau is so gay while soccer kicks and head stomps are always fun.

NOWAY!!!!! How can you take elbows out. It makes the ground n pound not as effective!!!!!!!!
Admit it Max...if you could end a fight with a bow you would use it as one of your main offensive attacks. I know I would....

I never understood why elbows were illegal in Japan. I know they don't want fights to end because of cuts, but if you can cut a guy to the point that the blood will affect his eyesight, then I say that is nothing but good strategy and smart fighting.
