You have to pick (or trade the pick), you might as well try to pick someone that could help you, instead of taking an undersized guard that in no way shape or form is a rotation NBA player. Not that hard of a concept

How does drafting Kevin Mccullar Jr help you more than Bronny last year? He scored 6 pts for the Knicks in 4 games.

Lebron also took a $3 million dollar cut for them drafting Bronny last year. So you save money and make your best player happy and you think thats less valuable than the next guard taken that scored 6 pts in reg season in 4 games and 0 in playoffs?

LeBron has played part time GM and put every team he’s been on in salary cap hell for almost 2 decades

You are the one who said hes not good

I said that he wasnt a good basketball player?

I literally said he was a good basketball player and not a good nba player. You even quoted and responded to it.

Do you have alzheimers?

How are yall still melting over a guy that was drafted 55th in the NBA draft. He is doing just about as good as most late 2nd round picks.

At what % rate at the end of the second round ?

Ahh yes I really can run those numbers Hell the Pelicans took two "old" players in Herb Jones and Jose Alvarado (undrafted) that made an impact year one because they came in NBA ready because of college experience. It happens all the time.

That’s extremely rare at the end of the second round for a player to have an impact. It’s finding a needle in a haystack

It's almost a crapshoot but it's not a needle in a haystack rare for a 2nd rounder to give quality minutes. But you increase your odds of getting a guy that can contribute by not selecting the guy who averaged 5ppg, undersized with a low ceiling, and had cardiac issues.

Melting? This is one of the few post about Bronny that I can remember posting in on TD. But it's a thread about Bronny making a leap and has some of the most retarded defenses of a guy that I can ever remember on this site so I'm replying to them. It's kind of what you do on TD, it's not melting.

They took Herb Jones at the end of the 2nd round? That's news to me since i was pretty sure he went in the top 5 picks of the 2nd round.

He's a second rounder that played four years in college. I think he fits the bill for four year college guys drafted in later rounds. Jose was undrafted, should I not have mentioned him since he was after the 55th pick?

Because there are still some people who refuse to admit or just can’t comprehend why he was drafted at all

More undrafted guys make it than guys in the last 10 picks of the 2nd round just based on sheer numbers.

More guys are undrafted than picked in the last 10 picks so it’s not really an apt comparison

No shite seeing as you have an entire league signing undrafted guys opposed to 10 picks.
