That's what I'm saying. This will not be a repeat of last year. I think it'll be close either way.

Not a bad prediction.

But I hope it's the other way!

It is going to be pretty hard to get the pass game going due to the fact that it will be raining and acadiana usually controls the ball 60-70% of the time due to the run game. So in order for Central to win this game they are going to have to get some quick strike td's

The veer machine is going to take the Rams back to the finals (assuming they can get past the monster that is Destrehan).

Its very hard to stop if you never see it. We see spread teams all year, so to go from spread offenses to Acadiana, its a tough adjustment. I think we did better this year due to the fact that we played last year and had an idea of what to expect.

Your coaches and players are class acts, and we wish you luck this week.

The DC for Central is Doug Dotson, whose dad brought the veer to acadiana many years ago. Very few teams run it, but doug played for acadiana and coached there so not many other coaches know it better than he does. It will be a close game i think, it all depends on how well centrals offense can spread the ball out.

I saw the rummel game on TV, it was a good game. Rummel always brings a quality team thats on top of a great district it seems like every year. Kudos to them on a great year

for the record, Brother Martin did not score on a hideout play. it was a simple screen pass where the outside reciever ran a screen and the slot guy ran a Go. the safety and corner were supposed to switch but the call didnt get echoed. the screen was doublecovered but the Go was by himself, hence the appearance of a hideout play
