I could see them passing Ohio State until after the BIG Conference championship game.

Baylor's back end of the schedule is significantly more difficult than Ohio States

We still have 7-3 Texas Tech, @ #11 Oklahoma State, @ crappy TCU, and home vs @24 Texas (same weekend as B1G Championship)

ETA: OSU lead over Baylor went from 70 points to 25 points in the Coaches Poll

good lord the coaches poll is fricked up. Some oddities...

* 1-loss UCF is 6 spots behind 1-loss Louisville who they beat at UL
* 2-loss Texas is 7 spots behind 2-loss OU who they mudstomped
* 3-loss Ole Miss is non ranked while 3-loss LSU who they beat is #18
* 3-loss Ole Miss has played 5 currently ranked teams. They are 2-3 losing to 1, 9, 11 and beating 18, 24. Ole Miss received 6 total votes

while 7-3 this week, we all know they probably finish 7-5. Nbd

these two play this week. Someone loses. Best case scenario imo for y'all is Texas wins and OSU stays ranked so you play them both ranked.

More importantly the computers hate all these teams so your only help is going to be humans

KSU will likely finish at 8-4 so our win on the road will look better.

Luckily for Baylor the humans count more than the computer.

Regardless, it won't matter if we are #3/#4/#5 if Alabama and FSU don't lose.

stanford is, and has been for a while now this season, the most overrated team in the polls

They lost to Utah, so that's pretty bad. With that said, where the frick else are they supposed to be ranked?
I will counter any argument you make for all the teams behind them that you think should be ahead.

true. Some of your previous wins are looking better. But I think you are looking at it wrong. You may pass OSU (I don't think so but you may) but several 1-loss teams could pass you both. Stanford is already ahead of y'all and they have much better computer profile games ahead.

I also think Bama losing won't necessarily help. If they lose to a 1-loss Auburn or a 1-loss Missouri, either of which which jump Baylor in computer polls and probably human too. Those 3 are all top 10 in the computer polls and have multiple top opponents from here. ex: Mizzou's road of Ole Miss, A&M, Bama/Auburn gives them 3 games that crush your best one of the season. If they win out, they are jumping everyone but FSU. Auburn might also with UGA, Bama, Mizzou/SC left.

I think you need FSU to lose more than anything. Or you need someone to beat Mizzou and then the East to win the SECCG. The Big 12 is killing y'all honestly.

Stanford isn't passing Baylor.
Only a 1-loss SEC champion Bama with the loss not coming in the SECCG will FOR sure pass Baylor. 1-loss Bama, with loss in SECCG might depending on how that game goes. 1-loss SECCG Auburn might too, but probably not. In fact I am willing to bet that Bama will still be ranked ahead of Auburn if they lose to them (unless it's a blowout).

Stanford was ahead of Baylor before this week when they beat Oregon. I think Baylor will pass them because they were already very high in the computers and Baylor's win will move them up more spots even if Stanford's win was more impressive (odd but correct). With Stanford's remaining schedule being significantly more difficult though, they will likely pass Baylor again.

How does Ole Miss "crush" Baylor's best game of the season

I meant computer wise. Ole Miss is higher ranked by the computers than any Big 12 team except Baylor. And Mizzou plays @ OM
