i was definitely wanting colt mccoy to go in the books as the only college qb to win four bowl games as opposed to Nick Saban® winning his second title at a different school.
I felt bad for the guy. Tough break.

I dont care if he is nice or not, he has done it the right way his entire career
What is the right way? He played?
I'm still confused as to what this has to do with the argument.

Tomlin said Roethlisberger sprained his AC joint, an injury to the ligaments that attach the collarbone to the shoulder blade.
Which sounds like it hurts more and would debilitate you more that or NUMBNESS?

Why you think that was? Toughness? Ambition? Desire? Completely different type of injury and side effects?
I say its the last one Dr Force

The ability to feel his fricking arm?

I love how you generalize and compare patients and injuries like they are interchangeable and everything is equal
You frickers are incapable of correlating and comparing.........Rothlisberger's is far more painful, debilitating, and threatening to his career and throwing motion...........
SHOULDER NUMBNESS not so much.........
Some people have it and some don't..........Other's are trying to get paid to be that tough.
Posted on 1/8/10 at 12:05 pm to supatigah
What did Roethlisberger have? An AC separation.? That could be benefited by cortisone no? AND Big Ben is ALREADY getting paid AND his arm I am sure is well insured.
Apples nd oranges.
Apples nd oranges.

A level 1 AC sprain isn't that bad. Level 2 and up is where it get's bad.
We all saw what happens when you bring a level 2 AC sprain back in the game. OU had that, and brought Bradford back 4 games later, and he got knocked back out after like 4 plays.

It wasn't just his shoulder. It was HIS WHOLE frickING ARM.
What about that can't you understand?

he started for four years so i am pretty sure he played hurt before when he was capable. When he played he usually won at an all time record pace
so to label him a:
liar
malingerer
pussy
or selfish
because he was unable to play last night is not supported by his career at Texas

I don't understand your point of view now.
If you have the wrong injury to a body part that body part may not work. Obviously a sprain can be just about anything... ranging from trivial to too significant to play with
It's not clear to me what kind of injury was caused when Colt was hit. But it was clear earlier in the year that Colt played in spite of being hit hard during some Big 12 games.
So I really don't see the bias towards assuming he's a giant faker who didn't want to play and wouldn't have taken any available medical treatment that could have let him play effectively

you better pray to Allah redd that you never wind up in Dr Force's care or he is going to call you a pussy and a liar if he thinks you are making shite up to protect your Thunderdome draft status

Dude........stop. It's far worse than shoulder numbness.
As far as playability? No, it's not.

Now don't go insulting the man, supa. It hurts his feelings.

FTR the iron hand just came down and clipped Dr Force and it was not my doing. I was still being entertained by his idiotic argument but apparently someone else in power was not amused.

We have all seen Colt getting blown up his entire career, including Suh throwing him around like a rag doll in the Big12CG. After 4 years of injuries, and coming back to win games, I won't question the kids toughness. He has shown that his whole career. This is a kid who every opposing DC looks at and says, "We have to get to him to beat them". They all have tried to knock him out of games for his entire career.
The kid is tough........Show a little class/respect.

That's fine.
I'm just saying the fact that he suddenly couldn't play after one fairly typical hit which occurs on a weekly basis but this time just so happened to be in a magical spot in his back that made his entire arm go numb seems fishy.

Why??? Silly. Aren't most of us talking out of our asses anyway? This is a message board. His foolishness was amusing and not threatening.
