I'm going to be sad when White wears some normal number during the regular season. I want him to wear a wide receiver number forever.

Musgrove for sure. Would be awesome if Martes does too, wouldn't put it past him with how fast he's progressed already

Must have been an intrasquad game. Faced Singleton in all at bats.

It's looking almost certain that Gattis isn't going to be ready for opening day. How long he'll be out after the opener is unclear. He's been running but I don't think he's hitting yet.

So that opens up some interesting situations for DH to start the season. At this point its looking like White makes the team. So does he DH and Singleton gets an extra chance to prove himself at 1st? Or White plays first and Tucker plays at DH?

I am really interested to see what we do

C
Castro
Backup

1B
White (I think he's safely on the team)

2B
Tuve

SS
Carlos

3B
Val

OF
Gomez
Springer
Rasmus
Jake
Tucker

UTIL
Margo

Who gets the extra spot? Singleton, Duffy, Reed are the theoretical choices if you want another 1B option though I don't know if they want to rush Reed in. Moran has swung the bat well in spring training. If Kemp had maybe he would have had a shot but I don't see it. Ultimately I think they do give Singleton the spot but Duffy gives you some flexibility position wise. He could play some 3B vs LHP

I guess we could always go with 13 pitchers too but I doubt it

We're gonna start with 13 pitchers.

We play @ Milwaukee after the opening 3 with the Yanks

A few days back AJ was hinting at carrying 12 pitchers starting out.

Reed is clearly starting in AAA. It should be Duffy to provide another right handed bat and more positional versatility.

I think we pretty much carried 12 most of us last year but I may be wrong. I do think our everyday lineup is a little more set in stone this year though with Gomez and Correa in the fold from opening day so maybe carrying 12 position guys makes more sense this year. I would personally rather see them throw White in there everyday as 1B and figure out DH until Gattis comes back/Reed is ready. Use Tucker, Margo to fill in at 3B and DH Val, Jake in the OF and give Rasmus a day off from the field, whatever

Feliz starting against the Phils today. Got off to a rough start in the first. 1 hit 3 walks but got out of it with just 1 run scoring.

Castro just used up his hit allotment for the next month. 3-3 today.

I can't remember which one of the shitty AAAA pitchers are out of options... thinking Straily? I can see him getting a spot until Gattis comes back... try to get his trade value up.

My sources are hardly wrong. Check last season's DATs and tell me where they weren't
