Nothing to see here. Just Lance's usual 26 pitch first inning

Lance needs to ride the #1 until he can control that hook (no need to throw it for strikes when he is pumping 98 mph). Like that K to end the inning.

I don't understand why he gets hit as much as he does..dudes stuff is filthy. I'm not versed enough in critiquing pitchers...someone care to opine?

We are tattooing balls. If Carter can make contact it may go 500 feet

Command. That's all. He walked a guy and then hung 2 curveballs right over the plate. Tends to have that one bad inning, especially early.

Not a problem. Lance always has a long 1st frame and then settles in. The offense will have more opportunities

Castro is only in there tonight due to his work behind the plate handling the kid. So he needs to stop calling for so many curveballs.

The Legend continues...

Ya know, just a 20 year old shortstop making plays behind a 21 year old pitcher in a pennant race. No biggie.

I'm aware of what he brings to the team defensively. Just cant believe he was a decent young hitter who turned to complete crap at the plate.

Sadly yeah.

You know what makes a pennant race fun? Switched to the LAA game and found myself saying, "Let's get something started here, Lawrie...you no good f*cking c*cksucker..."
