There are at least 4 teams in the sec that would go undefeated with usc's schedule.

Oklahoma State lost their whole offense; they're going to start a freshman qb. Not underrated.

Whats wrong with Notre Dame being 24?

That's a pretty good spot for them

if they can avoid turnovers inside the 5, they will be very good.

They gave games away to Mich and Mich State.

They are @ Oklahoma this year, play Stanford, Mich, Mich State and Southern Cal. pretty tough. Also, lesser teams Pitt, Miami the U., BYU, Boston College and Navy.

I think that a lot of sites rate teams, based on what their record will be, not how good they are. You can be a top 10 team and play USCw, Okies @ Norman, Mich, Mich State, Stanford, Miami, Pitt & BC , and end up out of the top 25. They have played Pitt and Miami and BC as long as I can remember, so those guys wont be in awe.
Tough schedule.

They bring back both of their backs who combined for like 35 tds and their 2 best players on defense their corners.

Yeah, Ok St.'s corners really helped their defense shine last year.

Not sure if you were being sarcastic, they were near the top in CFB in INTS last season.

They gave up 6000 fricking yards of total offense. They had to catch a few.

So was Houston, and yet with those 24 picks OSU still managed to rank 107th in passing defense. If you want to use the "always ahead so people threw a lot on them" argument, it cuts both ways.

I honestly have no idea what their Scoring defense was.

Yardage doesn't matter though.

27 a game.

And this board would go ballistic if LSU ever gives up 461 yards a game. That isn't playing defense.

NE and the Giants were both in the bottom 7 last year in yards allowed per game. Giving up yards isn't a bad thing, giving up points is.

Neither does interceptions. I'm simply saying that if you think OSU is underrated, that's fine, but you can't put that on the fact that they are returning 2 corners on a terrible defense. If you want to say that they can replace Weeden and Blackmon and keep scoring 50 ppg and have one loss again because of the system, I can go with that.

Turnovers > yardage every single time.

Sure, and points > turnover every single time, as you literally just typed.

Yep.

I can agree with that. I think we're both kind of debating the same thing, and are on the same side.
