Is it just me or does Fedor get cut really easy? I've noticed that in a couple of his fights I've watched on jewtube.

yes, he does. that's why i thought he could have lost the lindland fight until the used the ropes to reverse a takedown.

also why lesnar could be real trouble for fedor, and why they will prob never fight. a cut with a brutal ground and pounder on top with blood in the eyes could be disaster....the same scenario i thought was about to unfold in the Lindland fight. Fedor hasn't a faced an opponent of that style since then, and prob won't.

Es, fedor does cut easily.

I Want mousasi in the ufc. He can fight at 185, and think that he would have the best shot at beating silva of anyone in the world at middleweight.

Would love to see fedor/lesnar. I think fedor would come out with nasty flurries, as he did against timmay. Brock in fedors guard would be fun to see. IMO, fedor wouldn't have much trouble landing an armbar.

I'd love to see Mousasi in the UFC, but he said he can't make 185 anymore.

He is a professional fighter and we aren't .
Dude got knocked the frick out by the hardest striker ever In MMA.
Why so hostile?
He your "boy"?

Moussasi is a beast. Get that kid in the UFC when his contract is up.

Mayhem Miller is a talented fighter. He is a complete goofball and weirdo but you have to respect how that guy brings it to every fight he has. That was a technically awesome grappling show between him and Shields.

Fedor is a beast. I was surprised at Rogers' ability to neutralize Fedor on the ground though and get back up. Rogers is strong. He could have a good career ahead of him.

That fight was shite, and Miller has 0 takedown defense.

That was a huge win for CBS and Strikeforce. 4 good exciting fights.

Bigfoot got tired and lost, but not tired like every guy in the TUF house after the first round. I thought it was going to be stopped in round 1. Werdum isn't ready for a title shot in strikeforce or a shot at Fedor.

Mousasi won the Dream superhulk tourney? another great showing by him.

I hate that Miller didn't win, because he's fun to watch. That was a good fight, but I don't think Shields won any fans or respect.

Fedor... wow. Took some good shots from Rogers, but he just seems to be unable to be hurt. He easily handled the cage and the all of 265 opponent. He's the best in the world, and 2nd best isn't close.

both, but pfp is closer than the heavyweight.

I go Fedor,
Silva, St-Pierre, then Machida. No one else belongs in the discussion.

Round 1
Silva clips Werdum with a left hook. Werdum storms forward throwing leather and is cracked by a counter-right hand. Werdum falls face first to the canvas and Silva unloads with punches. A diving right hand lands flush and drives the crowd into a frenzy. Silva continues to unload, but Werdum weathers the storm and gets to his feet. Silva lands a snapping low kick to the right leg of his prey. Werdum lands a clean right hook to the jaw of Silva, but the bigger fighter isn’t fazed. Werdum is getting picked apart as he windmills his strikes.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Silva
TJ De Santis scores the round 10-9 Silva
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Silva

Round 2
Werdum puts his head down and charges forward with a flurry of punches. Silva stands firm and knocks him backwards to the canvas. Silva engages from the top while standing before diving into half guard. Werdum baits him in and sweeps. Werdum is working from the top in half guard, but Silva is game. He stands and eats a knee to the chin in the process. The pace slows as Werdum clinches with his opponent against the fence. The crowd boos the lack of action. Todd Frederickson separates the fighters, and Werdum scoops a single. From half guard, Werdum is looking for an arm-triangle choke. Werdum passes to side control and Silva scrambles. Werdum hits a kneebar that fails. Time expires in the second.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Werdum
TJ De Santis scores the round 10-9 Werdum
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Werdum

Round 3
Silva attacks the lead leg of Werdum with low kicks. Werdum goes top the clinch and hits the left side of Silva’s body with his right hand. Werdum lands a low kick of his own and trips Silva to the mat. Silva turns his back, and Werdum capitalizes with punches to the head. Silva stands and absorbs two knees to the chin from the Thai plum. Werdum tries to defend Silva’s hands with head movement alone, and pays for it as three sharp punches connect. Werdum answers with a knee that grazes the face. A right-hand lead scores for Werdum. Werdum throws Silva to the mat and briefly has his back. Silva gets to half guard, where he takes three hammerfists on the lips.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Werdum (29-28 Werdum)
TJ De Santis scores the round 10-9 Werdum (29-28 Werdum)
Mike Fridley scores the round 10-9 Werdum (29-28 Werdum)

All three official judges see the bout 29-28 for Fabricio Werdum, who takes the unanimous decision.

How so? I enjoyed the fight. I hard fought match that went the distance and was evenly matched through three rounds. Shield won it in the fourth and fifth.
