If you put Parker on the Hornets he would have CP3 #s....if he was on a shitty team he could lead the league in scoring.

So if the Spurs traded Parker for CP3, the Hornets would be the better team?

not his assist numbers. that's the one thing you're missing in this "tony parker is the greatest" argument. he's definitely a great scorer, but he is FAR inferior to paul or dwill in creating offense for his teammates

Parker isn't near the playmaker that Paul is, and Paul can get to the rack at will like Parker can. I am not knocking Tony, he is a stud, but he's a really good scorer. He's not a playmaker like Paul and Williams are.

Actually Parker is really comparable to AI: great scorers who aren't really good playmakers. I actually believe that parker could average over 25 ppg if asked to do so, but his team would never be a legit contender, just like AI (other than the year that they went to the finals). Parker could never be the best player on a championship team. Williams and Paul could.

For the most part I agree with this. But....no one runs the pick and roll like parker since he has that sweet midrange jumper.

You actually make sense. IMO Parker could lead the league in scoring if he was on a different team. He is still only 26....

Paul:
FG% 49.7
FT% 85.2
3PT% 35.1
Reb 5.32
Assist 11.09
SPG 2.75
PPG 21.35

Parker:
FG% 49.1
FT% 81.9
3PT% 31.9
Reb 2.90
Assist 6.67
SPG 0.87
PPG 21.00

You tell me...where is Parker better?
