Would it be to much trouble for a bomber from Whitehead to accidentally drop a munition at MSG tonight?

Evander Kane held out of last night's matchup because he showed up to a team meeting in sweats. He's 23, has a $5.5 million cap hit, and seems to has worn out his welcome in Winnipeg... he's got to be on the block for pennies on the dollar. If you're a contender who needs forward help, Winnipeg would almost certainly be my first call.

I'd be all over that.

The right team would straighten him out.

Winning solves a lot of shite

Yeah, I'd love to have Kane, Pens have been linked to him a ton, but with the Perron deal working out so well that won't happen now, probably for the better.

To make salary work, straight up:

Green for Kane. Hell, we'll even throw in Chimera.

I doubt Winnipeg sells during the year though as a current 5/6 seed, maybe.

I would imagine it would depend on the offer.

No way they move him if it doesn't help them in the short term

Yep, and they'll want a lot for him, and he's had a terrible season plus his other issues. BIG gamble for what you'd have to give up to get him right now.

If by soon you mean today against the Ducks, you would be correct.

In response to Kane, Bob Mackenzie reported injury in the earlier NHL Tonights. Where did you see this report?

I havent looked anything up this morning.

Also he reported the NHL and the NHLPA have to collective bargain Corsi and Fenwick stats being shown on NHL.com and the players might not want those readily available.

Winnipeg is a seller they are floundering. They are in no shape to make a run this year. The Kings are coming to take their spot.

I just read it on TSN, thank you for the link.

TSN power poll this week.
1. Blues
2. Blackhawks
3. Lightning
4. Canadiens
5. Rangers
6. Ducks
7. Predators
8. Islanders
9. Red Wings
10. Penguins

The biggest leap is the Flames from 21 to 15.

Looks like he is actually hurt.

@Dejan_Kovacevic: And now it's official: @NHLJets put Kane on IR. Still could need surgery, per multiple reports here in Canada.

@renlavoietva: #jets Evander Kane has a shoulder injury. The question is will he need a surgery. We'll know in the next few days. #tvasports

Lightning @ Stars tonight, Lightning on a 4 game losing streak - Stars just flat out can't play defense.

Bet the house on the bolts, especially after that 11 round shootout loss Tuesday night.
