Their arms are all gone. I would not have been surprised at all if they lost, even by a wide margin (i.e. 10 runs), especially after playing earlier today, but, man.

i now want to see 40, not b/c i hate OSU but i just want to see 40 runs scored in what is supposed to be a fairly competitive game.

btw, this game is TERRIBLE for college baseball. Awful for the game.

I mean, it's not that big of a deal to me. I really don't care that much about college baseball. But, still, it's pretty embarassing to lose like this.

right, it's preferable to lose in a manner that won't make national news b/c of the margin of defeat.

They should get rid of those damn bats they use and go to wooden bats

then ohio st probably wouldn't have scored at all.

it isn't practical for college to use wood bats.

i thought wrestling programs were still very strong in the north? or at least in the midwest.

OSU has a pretty good wrestling program, but not many people care/go to matches.

exactly. Most schools couldn't afford to use wood. People underestimate the cost of good wood bats, as well as how many you go through in a season of practices, BP, games, and offseason drills. The dollar amount is astronomical....and yes, they have looked into it.

At least they toned down the bats.

it actually more fair to not use wood, because you know the bigger programs would then have a huge advantage.
