Matt Hughes: I don't think it did. To be honest it might've impacted Georges more than me in the fact that he had to watch his kicks from then on. The second time I went down, it wasn't really because of my groin, but my, it affected my legs, more than my groin. I don't know if it was a nerve thing or what happened but, uh, as soon as he hit me I felt it in my legs, not my groin, so I really can't say it really affected me. Not physically, I don't think. Maybe it affected Georges just as much as it did me

since you brought up greasegate, didn't Dana say that Phil Nurse would never be allowed to corner in the UFC again? Dude was in Bones Jones' corner and is still all over the GSP primetime so I'm sure he'll be there again casting magical spells all over his back.

Don't remember Dana saying that, but that he did believe Nurse was cheating. Didn't they change a rule to where only one cornerman or someone like stitch can have vaseline? I don't remember all of the fallout from that fiasco.

as far as gsp goes i wouldnt say hes a huge ww, although his shoulder and back are very wide and the fact he has explosive hips make him dangerous
