that's why all the houston fans on this board are retarded, being proud of being 3rd in the west at the moment

it has more to do with the way the team is playing than being 3rd in the West. 10-2 since McGrady stopped playing with some huge wins, most people who follow the NBA see that this team is legit.

And you would be wrong! People like you thought they were better last year without Yao. They are better without an injured McGrady.

I never said they were better without Yao. He is crucial to their success. McGrady is always injured so my statement holds true.

McGrady has not been out of the 1st round of the playoffs, with him out this year I think they at least will make it to the 2nd round. He may be a good player when healthy but the TEAM is better with him on the bench injured or not.

i just don't get where y'all get your cockiness from.

the rockets win some games with the easiest schedule thus far in the NBA and you people think they can win a playoff series.

i just think it's hilarious how Petarded y'all can be.

Paul is 2-10 vs Deron Williams heads up, Williams must be the better player. Or basketball is a team game? Take your pick.

they play the teams that they'll likely meet in the playoffs(top 10 teams) as well as anybody in the league...far far better than the hornets do. if you watched the rockets this year, you'd see that they've lost to lots teams that have poor records.. your SOS argument doesn't really mean much.

Ok I should have said none of McGrady's team's have been out of the first round of the playoffs. My whole argument is built around the word TEAM, which is why i said the Rockets are a better TEAM without McGrady.

any team would be better without a player who is injured as bad as McGrady trying to play. With a healthy McGrady, Houston is at worst in the same shape they are right now.

Your a fricking dumbass, which I'm really not surprised. I used the 50 wins statement to show how bad the losses were. It's sarcasm used to insult the Hornets pathetic play.

i know that they lost to the spurs without parker or ginobli, also beat the jazz without milsap or okur.
after they lose to the lakers they will be 0-3 against them
of the top 7 teams in the west, they have a winning record against only Denver, with the only loss coming without Melo and one win being controversial on a flop call, and Utah, who has ousted them in the playoffs the last two years.

[quote]your SOS argument doesn't really mean much.

you trying to defend your SOS argument doesn't really make sense. there is no way around it trying to say that it doesn't mean much.

I guess Hawaii was a real good football team 2 years ago too.

enough bitching. neither the hornets nor the rockets will make the conference finals. SAS and LAL are deep which wins playoff games. also, lakers are a lock for the NBA finals. they have run away with the west, have a deep young bench, and have the desire to win it all. that being said, go hornets.
