Indiana is this generation's 1998 Kansas State

Both extremely likable teams from historically sordid programs coming off a legitimately elite year, then upping the ante and breaking through into genuine national title contender status.
Both teams mowed through their respective schedules and looked like legitimate teams taking care of business.
That A&M loss for KSU was legitimately tragic. Nobody outside of College Station or Tallahassee wanted KSU to lose. Let's hope Indiana's season doesn't end in similarly devastating fashion. I have a feeling Indiana is here to stay beyond this season.
