Yeah, you're old enough to remember how strong Legion ball was back in the day... and I'm sure you remember that '74 Rummel team. I was 10 at the time and remember it.

Rummel won legion ball when I was there (not on team. bad at baseball)

This catholic team is strong though.

lots of talent.

My nephew just graduated from catholic. i didn’t realize how big it was. 270 in his class.

I was 10 too - yes I remember them but I also know how people talk about 80 Jesuit in much higher regard as well as some other teams.

yes I loved legion ball Mr Cook says that legion ball was also strong outside of NOLA, and 1936 Jesuit had 7 players play pro ball so let's see who else can compare to that.

Another Rummel/Jesuit classic State championship.

3-2 Jesuit victory on a 6th inning Steve Riley solo.

Dickie Wentz was getting crushed in the first inning being saved by double play ball hit back to the pitcher with Rummel having only scored one run with the bases loaded.

Jesuit put in Brian Shearman and he shut down Rummel...
