I think I enjoyed the oaks more than derby day itself when I went a few years ago. Seemed like a lot of locals and everyone in link to support breast cancer awareness.
Going to the otb to place my usual four horse tri box. Missed it by one last year. Didn't have golden soul in there for some reason.
Aspy, hadn't looked at the PPs yet but, at a glance, was thinking danza, chrome, candy, and curlin (always seem to bet on borel). I'll look into it a little more but you have any thoughts?

I have plenty of thoughts. The problem is information overload. I'm confising the hell out of myself. Hubby loves Danza but I a) don't trust him not to bounce and b)don't know about the street boss factor. Hopefully his mommy will provide some distance.

Yeah. I usually do better when I put a minimal amount of thought into it. Like last year when I put orb in my tri box.

i'll be rooting for River Bear in tomorrows churchill downs stakes, the 7 furlong race. He's raced at fairmount park for years and goes up to chitown and beats their heads in. hard knockin old timer.
