Who shouldn’t he have picked?

Some were solid others poor choices.

I have never heard a bad bunny or Kendrick Lamar song. I know their names I just don’t listen to much of that type of music at this point in my life.

I don’t expect to like it every year but that’s ok.

I do think though that there should be some onus to try to incorporate all genres on some sort of rotating basis.

And before you say that too limited of a reach with say country just know that Toby Keith had as many weeks with the number 1 album in 2024 as Kendrick Lamar did.

Could give a Chris Stapleton and Zach top show and the half of the country that has suffered for a number of years would be fine if Good Fox is the next show

The NFL wants to be a worldwide product and Bad Bunny is one of the biggest international stars in the world.

Its really not hard to figure out why he's performing, and its not a big deal either. The people that still melt about this are either too fragile minded or bigoted to figure it out.

They are trying to get more audiences into the sport, and you wont stop watching because of it.

That's why they shoehorned Shakira into JLos halftime show. JayZ makes it so JLo gets an undeserved spotlight because she was with Diddy, and the NFL saw an opportunity to get a real World famous icon to promote the brand by pushing the narrative of "Two Hispanic legends" performing together for one time only to JLo and JayZ (there was only one Hispanic icon. Nobody outside the states ever gave a shite about JLo).

Shakira headlined a World Cup Final, but had to share the stage with Diddy's leftovers for the NFL.

They should have ended their partnership with JayZ right then.

Thankfully, I'll be watching kid rock rock out with TP, like a real patriot.

I can’t imagine watching some wanna be patriotic halftime show on a separate channel or stream, all because some dude that most people have never heard of is the Super Bowl headliner.

This is such a cop out. that doesn’t explain the previous years which were clearly skewed a certain way.

To pop?

The demographics of this board skew Millennial and older. Our window as pop consumers has passed, and there aren't many Millennial acts left to push for nostalgia purposes. Usher was the finale of this window, pretty much, with the Dre show 2 years prior being the beginning of the end.

It's not a shocking statement to say that a demographic of 35-55 year old men who don't typically live in major cultural hubs are ignorant to what's popular with broccoli heads.

A business is allowed to change their model. Its not a cop out, its an attempt at growing their brand.
