Let me post my favorite play in Saints history. His call is perfect on this one - as far back as the 2006 NFCCG. Excited yet understated at the same time. Lets the moment take over.
That play and that call.
Lost the game but I'll forever remember "88 yards for the home run hitter for New Orleans, Reggie Bush."

Is that the first time Joe Buck's raised his voice? He always gets criticized for being too monotone.
That's the loudest he's ever talked while making a call.

I love the "The Giants win the pennant".
Great shot heard round the world reference.

He was horrid with one of the greatest plays in nfl history.. The David tyree catch.. He gave it no justice whatsoever... And.. It's caught..

Buck's best call was the '04 ALCS game 4 call.
'We will see you later tonight' after the Sox won. I think it was like 1am and Game 5 was in like 16 hours

That is an excellent call. Wow. Celebrating a walkoff homerun is one of the coolest things in sports.

Joe Buck is great. So is Troy Aikman.
Aikman is good, Buck is average.
He is good at baseball though.
