Hey Aspy look up my 1st cousin Jill. She is a consignor in Florida. Two Beaches is the name of her and her partners venture. Distorted Humor colt out of Tomisue's Delight sold at Calder Fasig-Tipton March 2. Damn her we grew up together. She bought for 200k sold 2.3 million. Hip No. 218. She wants me to come look around, I'm like sure why not. I want another brood mare.

Does it bother anyone else that they keep advertising the Secretariat movie as the "the impossible true story of a longshot racehorse"? I kept seeing online ads that called him a longshot.
Secretariat was no longshot. He was big and beautiful, his sire was one of the best racehorses of all time, Meadow Stud had just won the Derby the year before, and he was the favorite in the Derby.
I know, it's how movies are, but it bugs everytime I see an ad that says that.
I guess they're trying to sell it like its another Seabiscuit story.
