And far much as people hate Gregg he only has 2 blown saves. Yes he is not not good, but marmol hasn't benn much better.
Also, I see a lot of people wanted to switch Gregg and Marmol's rolls b/c they don't feel good with Gregg in the 9th. Well would you want Gregg to come in to get out of a big jam in the 7th or 8th like Marmol has been so good at getting out of thanks in part to his ability to get the strikeout. If you switch gregg and marmol then it will be Gregg coming in those tough jams. This is why the whole "closer" and "save" thing is really dumb. Most of the time the real save comes well before the 9th inning.

I agree Marmol sucked arse last night..and has actually struggled for most part this year *control*
BUT..he has built up some equity with the fans. Last year...so we can forgive him slightly easier...Gregg has struggled it seems every single outting. If we are up by 9...he's gonnalet them get back in it before it's all said and done. I just can't stand him and really didn't like signign him...esp. after talking both Florida fans.

I didn't like the signing either but he is here now. And if people insist on using the closer only in the 9th inning when most of the time the real "save" situation already happened then I feel it's better to keep marmol out of the closer roll and use him when there is a real jam in the 7th or 8th.
