So dumb to send the runner. You've just tied it with the bases still loaded on the play. Of course the shortstop is going to throw you out from the edge of the grass.

Yeah, blew all momentum with a stupid call. This game was all on coaching. Leger was pulled after only 84 pitches. He wasn't going to throw again this weekend anyway, so why not let him pitch the 8th? Then Marks has a pretty easy inning and he's lifted for no reason.

Never would have thought that every team aside from LSU would be eliminated before Saturday.

Cajuns are bubble out most likely. What a waste of Gunner Leger's last season (probably). Robe needs to find a new hitting coach, but he's way too loyal to his guys.

I think he's stretching on a lot of those. I doubt the committee cares whether the nation's leading base stealer is in the NCAA tourney or not.
