and how did that work out?

While Kobe was scoring in the 3rd quarter, he was getting away from the offense towards the end

Why would he ever want to get way from that offense tonight? I mean it was working so wonderfully tonight

you are pathetic. all series you have been covering both sides of the spectrum. you always have to put a little disclaimer in there about "the lakers will probably win"

Because I don't backtrack. I am a die hard Rockets fan but i'm not stupid. The Lakers are better than the Rockets with no T Mac or Yao. No Rocket fan would argue that.

quote:

when the hornets are losing, i dont start talking about how it was a joke that they challenged someone. do you realize that the everyone on the rockets is in the nba? why should the lakers be better, bc the media says so? because they have some offense, but no defense?

So how many NBA teams do you root for? If you are a Hornet fan and CP3 and David West go out for the playoffs how much of a chance do you give them to win a playoff series against LA? But you would still root for them right? You as a "Hornet fan" have never had to deeal with losing 2 superstars durring a playoff series so you don't know what you would say. I at least thought you were a Lakers fan but to now know you are talking all this shite and just posing as a Lakers fan makes you pathetic in my book

LOL at L.A.

Gotta hnad it to Houston, they've outworked and played their asses off in this series. I'll certainly be rooting for them in game 7.

So hows the Zen Master going to spin this loss

Why would he put a spin on the Rockets win?

They flat out took it to the Lakers and whooped that arse to a degree. Rebounding, toughness, defense

The areas were it counts to win in the playoffs and in the Finals

Last years Lakers were tough in the first 3 rounds up until the Finals

Hopefully this team is the reverse

That is, if they get there

Dude...The lakers swept them in the season when they had those guys...The rockets play with more heart when they are undermanned for some reason

The Lakers never played the Rockets with a healthy T Mac

Some great heart for this ROckets team.
hell of an effort

even though i'd love to see yao out there so he could earn a little more respect, this is special.

the lakers are better in general. there's a reason houston lost in the first round last year and the lakers won the west. there's a reason the lakers swept houston in the regular season. there's a reason the lakers are going to win the series.

i root for the hornets strictly bc i live in louisiana, but i primarily like teh heat. i like this series a lot bc i am a fan of basketball, and odom and artest are two of my favorite players.

its bc u constantly downplay houston, just like the media. yeah they lost their stars, but it isnt like high school or college. this is a pro team with pro players. they arent going to roll over.

TT,

i've been polite, but dude, this isn't a logical argument. that's not the case, so to argue this is a waste of time, because we really don't know what the outcome would be with a healthy yao and t-mac.

true, but it's just my opinion that with a healthy T mac and Yao Houston wins this series pretty easily

keys to a rockets game 7 W:

- no foul trouble for hayes
- 12 or fewer turnovers
- 45% 3 point shotting

If we get those 3, it'll be a hell of a game.
