Hopefully, but we may be meeting before the WCF with the remaining schedule we have left.

Reminds me of the "Lebron is gonna go off tonight" posts before Shane and Ron shut him down

It was fantastic. The guy I went to the game with came in from Baton Rouge to supposedly to see LeBron go off on the Rockets. Needless to say, it was probably his worst game of the season.

The whole game I had faith in what I forcasted. You all should have seen it coming. Think about it. Kobe had 5 assists in the 1st quarter, thats was textbook Kobe, when he doesn't have the strongest team on the court due to injuries or suspensions he uses the 1st quarter to get the other guys going. The Lakers depth keeps the game close in the 2nd and 3rd. Kobe gets a rest at the start of the 4th as long as the Lakers are within 5 because the bench and role players are hot due to Kobe getting them the ball in the 1st. Then Phil puts Kobe in at the magic time slot of 6-8 minutes where he has fresh legs to dominate his exhausted opponents and win the game. Textbook Kobe. Textbook great coaching by Phil Jackson. You could have read it all the way.

The Rockets were just another team to get played by this strategy, but hey at least you got to watch the best player in the game do what he does best.....

Ohh, did I mention my seats were amazing and worth every penny?

Well, that settles it, you know Lebron was growing on me as being the best in the game. Then two weeks ago I go watch him do absolutely nothing in the worst game he has statistically ever had in the NBA. To be followed by Kobe come in missing 2 starters and absolutely dominate the game and get the win proving that yes Lebron is great, no disrespect, but right now Kobe is King.

Alright, I'll come to eat crow. Kobe was ridiculous. Scoring what, 18 points or some shite in the last 5 minutes? Where LeBron struggled all night long against the Battier and Artest tag team, Kobe came through in the clutch once again. And I hate him for it. And I hope the Rockets don't draw the Lakers or Utah in the first round of the playoffs this year. That's all.

I'll talk. Everything you just said is absolutely correct. Kobe was a second half beast, and Yao and Ron looked lost. Thats the first time i've seen someone get into Artests' head this year. The strategy of waiting till Yao gets the rebound...THEN trying to take it from him worked all night long. He trades off strong hands for his soft shooting touch and it becomes a liability at times. That being said, Shane was awful, Ron was awful, Yao was below his average, and they turned the ball over 20+ times...and the game was still up for grabs with 2 minutes left. The ROX played hard, but their not as good as the Lakers, and neither is anyone else in the west. I still think they can beat anyone else in the west in a 7 game series. Not saying they will, but they can. I'm just hoping for a playoff win, and to avoid the Jazz in the first round.

BTW...Kobe is STILL the best player in the league! Bron has more ability than Kobe, but Kobe's mental game and heart at crunch time keeps him on top in my book. If the game is close at the end, I FEAR KOBE. I only fear Lebron if he has been dominating all night. Kobe turns it on anytime he wants.

Morning radio guys in Houston said kobe needs to go buy Ron a giant pink diamond after the things he did to him last night. BENT HIM OVER!

, i completely agree with pretty much everything you said.

Yeh, there was definetely a shift in momentum slash team attitude once Ron decided he was going to put an elbow in Kobe's face and start that scuffle. Not a good move. He should have known that was only going to piss Kobe off and in turn set Kobe off. That could have been the game changer for the Rockets.

I noticed this too, they were all making terrible passes in the late 3rd early 4th, especially lobs to Yao down low. I can account for at least 4 of them getting stolen in the 4th alone.

I will admit, as much as I hate to say it, I was impressed with the Rockets last night. Besides about a 15 minute stretch they played well and been playing well since the break. Cough Cough, mainly because of their addition by subtraction of Tracy.

Two of things I have noticed. Brooks is developing at PG, he will get there. Then....Von Wafer, damn what a hell of a pick up for the Rockets. They need to let him shoot more than just when they are down. He can light it up at times.

Well put. Lebron is a beast. He's huge. He's strong. He can play every position on the court and dominate it with his freakish athleticism and strength to go with it. But Kobe has mastered the art/game of basketball to the point where it looks like he is toying with his opponents and down a few points or not has the game under his control a majority of the time.

Like or not Kobe haters, when this guy goes, one day you will wake up and realize just how masterful his game was and how great of a player he was.
