If it is confirmed that the AD did in fact turn down an invite to the Indy Bowl, the dude or dudess needs to be fired right now , IMO.

Maybe the Tech peeps knew what they were talking about when they said the Indy Bowl was a no win for them. According to Wiki Tech has played in the Indy Bowl 4 times since 1977 and they still aren't relevant.

I cheer for every la team.
This week tech turned me against them because as I fan of sports I really wanted the ulm tech game...and they kept making the liberty bowl sound like a bcs bowl and if you couldn't see it, you're an idiot. Then Detroit was gonna become tech nation all would come to ruston was the back up plan.

me too. I may go up to the school this week and talk to a couple of the SGA people about sign ideas. There needs to be a big one, covering a section challenging them to play ULM. It just needs to happen.

To all you asshat tech fans blasting me last night y'all got what you deserved.
This is not just the ads fault some money people in Ruston helped with this not naming names but they know who they are a should be embarrassed by their choice.

As a Monroe native, NLU & ULM grad, and lifelong Tech hater, this is definitely one of the greatest sports days ever!! About time those delusional, arrogant assholes get what they deserve. I do feel sorry for their seniors, they didn't deserve this.

Just look at it this way...next year tech will be in a much better position to strong arm bowl committees. One of the perks of leaving the WAC for a conference with some some serious pull like C-USA.
