The Russian that he was lucky enough to beat would stand a better chance. He was Lesnar like, and had previously beat Roulon (sp?).

I don't know if yall know this or not, but Shaq's been training MMA for about 10 years now being a cop and apparently isn't that bad, and is planning to compete in a major organization after basketball. I'm thinking Shaq-Lesnar UFC 150

I thought about Karelin, but he is 42, has been retired since 2000 and hasn't had a mma fight.
Gardner is 38, was competing internationally in wrestling as recently as 2006 and has a mma win over Yoshida in Pride.
eta: plus he's immortal

Looking at this pic it is easy to see why Mir was so humble. I'm surprised he is already talking about a re-match.

Mir made Lesnar tap out. Multiply those submission skills by about 20, then you have Emelianenko.
No shot.
I agree that Fedor is a much better fighter than Mir. More well rounded and probably one of the best submission fighters in the world. Problem for the matchup between Fedor and Brock is Brocks size. Because of his broad shoulders and thick neck. Traditional submissions just wont work on him. It would take a very tall leggy fighter to pull off a triangle on him. Chokes could be done if he makes the mistake of lifting his chin, but any good fighter knows to keep your chin tucked with someone on your back. But Lesnars hand strength and size become factors in that as well. Hand control is cruicial to pull off most submissions. Randy said in a interview aswell as Mir that controling Lesnars hands was damn near impossible considering his strength.

Ok listen to what Mir said after he beat Lesnar in their first fight.
Then get back to me.
That is the clear difference. All fighters talk shite about each other before the fight. It builds up the fight but it's what you do afterwards.
No one hated each other more than Matt Serra and Matt Hughes and they shook hands after the fight and gave mutual respect. Hell even Ken Shamrock shook hands with Tito Ortiz after their third fight.

Fedor is good but really? Who has he beat? Orlovsky? Orlovsky was good in the UFC for a little while but had no chin. We already knew that. He has an exceptional ability to put people in an arm bar

480, you dumbass. So no one can have an opinion unless they want to fight Lesnar over it?
I meant if anyone on the MMA community had a problem with it....not anyone on here.

Wow. So you're saying he's the best P4P fighter? Not GSP who's basically unbeatable at 170, not Anderson who's unbeatable to this point at 185, not undefeated Lyoto Machida, 4-1 Brock Lesnar. No.
No I am saying he is the baddest MMA fighter on the planet....period! I didnt say anything about P4P. Lesener would DESTROY Machida,Silva, and GSP.

Fedor does a good job of beating people after they get let go from the UFC for losing....ill give him that! And yes he did ok in Pride but look how well those Pride guys have done once they got to the UFC. CroCop was the biggest joke of them all!

Who has Fedor beat? The Who's Who of HWs not named Brock or Mir whom he could both handle fairly easily.

It amazes me that so many people who have never really seen Fedor fight now think that Lesnar would smash him.
Fedor has been the best fighter in the world for quite awhile now. Just because you never heard of him until Dana White mentioned his name doesn't mean he isn't the best.
Fedor has fought the best in the world. Don't look at the UFC versions of Crocop and Big Nog as the type of fighters they were. Fedor beat them both in their prime. He has never ducked anyone. Just won't give in to "Suge" White and his tactics.
This was not directed to you at all.
