That's bullshite excuse. If they fire him at the end the same candidates know the department is serious. The chaos now is not worth it. Past history has shown this won't end well.

Please enlighten me on the genius of the LSU admin. Tell me about how great they've handled the Les Miles situation. I'm not saying he shouldn't be fired, I'm saying he should have never been given this season if the intention was to fire him the second LSU lost a football game.

They can begin reaching out now. Beginning the talks now is a good thing. Don't want to miss the boat on a good coach by waiting until the end of the season.

Alleva already had a list he better of had. Any AD has a list of guys at all times who he wants as a replacement.

He was given this season with an ultimatum. One that he took, wiped his arse with, and threw back in his bosses' faces.
Pretty much a recipe to get fired anywhere.
If you meant he should have been fired last year, I completely agree. Righting that wrong early in the year doesn't bother me.
