I'm gonna go with 2-1, Barckey
doesn't matter that Abs or Alvs are gone, Sylvinho and Yaya will fill in nicely, and Pique hasnt sucked as much as I thought he would.

Utd wins probably 3-0. There is no way Barca can stop them, bring on the treble. Puyol is way too slow to defend either Rooney or Tevez.

You are a moron, Puyol is one of the best defenders in the world. This is like me saying Nicklas Bendtner can shoulder the goal scoring load if Adebayor and RVP leave this summer.

Leauxgan, I'm sure this guy bought a ManU jersey last year right after the final and then hasn't watched a ManU until Tuesday or possibly not once this season.

...Puyol is considered by many to be the best defender in the world, I think he'll be fine.
AS Leauxgan said earlier, Sylvinho will fill in nicely and toure(while not stellar yesterday) didn't do a bad job.

the thing about the modern defender is that the great majority of the up-and-coming elite LB/RBs are initially trained as attacking middies. So when you slot a guy like Yaya back there, he is already sound defensively and is used to pushing up to assist in the attack.
I think the only problem y'all have with your starters missing is Alves' accurate/pacy crosses, and powerful freekicks.

Nicklas Bendtner has apologised for his actions after he was pictured leaving a nightclub at 4am following Arsenal's loss to Manchester United.
The Denmark international striker, 21, was pictured leaving a London nightclub in the early hours of Wednesday morning with his belt undone and jeans pulled down before being helped into a waiting car.

Honestly, I know more Gooner fans than I do United fans.

C'mon bro this story broke yesterday. I won't argue with you Hendo on the bandwagon rating of each team.
LOL, Sry Arsene I've now become a mascot for stupidity on an internet forum in America.

doesnt surprise me. but anecdotes about who you know more of doesnt change the fact that Manchester United probably has the highest growth rate of new fans worldwide than any other club (due to their success and consequential media exposure).
but I'm not deluded enough to think that Arsenal doesnt have millions of casual "oh look, they're on tv" fans.

I'll let you guess the footballer that will again lead Arsenal into Bandwagon glory.

ManU definetly has more than enough bandwagon fans. It makes discussing football with them awkward, if I mention whether or not Jonny Evans can fill in at CB I just get a blank stare

Haha please! Last year Ronaldo was held in check by a far worse off Barcelona defense!
Posted on 5/7/09 at 12:19 pm to tigerking765
Yeah because they had heavy midfield support coming back to mark him

As much as you don't want to admit it, in terms of firepower. Barca has the edge.
Iniesta, Xavi, Henry, Eto'o, Messi > Ronaldo, Rooney, Giggs, Tevez, Berbatov
It's ball control that ultimately wins them matches, not having stout defense (which Puyol provides).
