Rock your world was assaulted at the start and his race was over then. I also saw a rumor that he may have bled but that was unconfirmed. A lot of why he won this particular race probably has less to do with whatever he gave that isn’t being tested for and more with his uncontested easy lead. There were some curious rides on some speed horses, including one who was supposed to go to the lead for a rider who used to be the go to for baffert. Maybe we seen him get ridden more again?
All you have to do is see the tactics employed on and for other horses in Justify’s Belmont to know he’s not above that shite. Cheating doesn’t always mean drugs.

Justify’s Belmont
Not just justify
Nearly every race for his triple crown winners, his horse was given the best spot, and never had to work for a win.
Worst was when stevens on a pure speed horse, lets pharroh get an easy lead and just gallop around.
Or the breeders cup where the whole field was dead closers, and the only speed horse, scratches. Such a joke
It's about black type, not about actually running your horse hard to win. Owners happy with 3rd in grade 1's

Just joined WHOA (Water, Hay, and Oats Alliance). I am a true fan of the sport, and it needs to get cleaned up. Read the numerous articles concerning the amount of drugs being given to horses on a regular basis in the sport. It is absolutely ridiculous.

I laughed when they took the blinkers off the only other speed horse in the Belmont. Common ownership links
He’s terrible for the sport but the super casual fan loves him.
I actually liked pharoah but it was super hard for me trying to ignore his connections

I’m not a fan of eliminating lasix unless stud owners have to disclose bleeding, which they never will. We’ve got who knows how many horses we’ve created over here that need it.

I could see your support for the LASIX, but many knowledgeable breeders are saying that we are breeding the soundness out of horses. This is hard to believe, but some are turning to Germany to find soundness in thoroughbred. Look at how many prominent sires had extremely short racing careers but are immensely popular. Breeding legends such as Princequillo .would not be fashionable today

I’m gonna laugh secretely, even though it’s not a good thing, if the into mischief send up as bleeders. He’s got too many damn sons at stud. I also support the limiting of studbooks.

Into Mischief also has the Northern Dancer/ Raise A Native thing going. He is a successful sire; his career lasted for six races.

I don’t know enough about horse racing but don’t they all cheat? It’s like cycling, everyone cheats and it’s basically accepted. Cheating just gets more advanced as testing/rules do.

the problem is, it affects more than just the owners.
Bettors get royally screwed, and they should always be tracks #1 concern. there is no horse racing w/o the bettors.

I get the concern, I guess my point was it isn’t just Baffert doing it. Right?
Posted on 5/2/21 at 7:55 pm to CatfishJohn
Let's say it this way: only the elite can cheat; the drugs cost quite a bit of money. Some of old school horseman want to return to better days. The problem is that people breed to breed, not race. Unsoundness is rampant in the industry. The horses have a lot of ability but need drugs to remain sound. Even with the drugs, most careers are short.

Very interesting to note:
Rosario, who rides concert tour, was missing a stirrup shortly after his slow break on rock your world and subsequent bump with the 17 (who was to his right). Photos from the start show he already had his left foot out of the stirrup as the gates opened...
It wasn’t a result of the bump as it was explained to be.
So smith basically did not even try to get the lead despite the plans and Rosario made sure his horse couldn’t.

Whatever happened to D Wayne Lucas? He has kinda disappeared in recent years.
Posted on 5/2/21 at 11:44 pm to ronricks
He’s still training, first one at the track every morning on his pony. I think he’s 85, had back surgery (or some surgery) last year, and had covid.
His stable isn’t as big or splashy but he’s still out there and has surprisingly turned into a good ambassador for the sport.

He's a dirtbag, who is the biggest shithead in the sport.
He had horses rode into their graves, because that Insurance $$$ was worth more than being an allowance winner. Anything out of storm cat was getting insured for a mil or more, when they werent black types, he ran them into their graves.
One of the horse racing boards has a good look at d.wayne and his antics.
Horse pulls up around turn, you see limp, 2 days later he runs a bullet work, on track 3 days later, goes a 21 1/5th first fraction and literally horse crumbles on the track.
And the lewis and other family were just as big of dirtbags as he was, they willfully went along with it.
