Looks like they just nailed the doping cheater Baffert again. Medina Spirit tests positive for the illegal substance Betamethasone at over twice the permitted amount.
Baffert is suspended and if the B sample comes back positive Medina Spirit will be stripped of his Kentucky Derby winnings and purse. Hope Baffert gets a multi year ban, which he certainly deserves.

I’m glad we don’t have this kinda controversy in harness racing. Still don’t really think Baffert did anything egregious but it looks to have raised a lot of negative press for an already dying sport
