You should try avoiding threads with his name in the title if you are that sick of him.

unnecessary censorship:

Being gay isn't translatable to football Mike. Teams don't owe you shite for your so called "bravery". Ignore the gay aspect and he's a non-story on the fringe for a roster spot that no body is talking about. I'd say the guy needs to cut out the drama but.....

It still blows my mind that he only had a 25 inch vertical. That is less than an inch better than Tom Brady's vertical.

I do think he would have been drafted earlier if not for the story/media circus

Wow. I didn't realize it was that bad.
Just curious, what's a good vertical for a man of his position?

By how much, though?

I figure some teams passed on him because they don't want to deal with the inevitable bullshite that will follow if/when he gets cut, which is a high probability for most draft picks out of the late rounds.

Given that only about four teams were discussing the possibility of a UDFA deal with him, though, I'm thinking that he wouldn't have fit into most NFL defenses.

For someone who doesn't want everything to be about his sexuality he sure doesn't mind bringing it into the picture.

Well he was dead last for his position: LINK

He also had one of the slowest 40 times, the worst 3-cone drill number, and had the second lowest number of reps on the bench.
