Just heard via twitter that Melo and Durant will both sit out tonight, giving Melo the 2012/2013 scoring title.

Lets see. In the three games they played this season, OKC took 2. One of those was by 20, and the other by 30.

In the last couple months I've gone from thinking Memphis could make a run to thinking we're probably going out in the first round or getting killed in the second. A little depressing.

Don't underestimate them. They're gonna go into that series with teh Clippers pissed off after last season.

I think they can beat the Clippers.

Honestly (and I know I'm a die hard Bulls fan), but I believe the teams with the best shot of pulling an upset in the 1st round are Chicago and Memphis.

Chicago took 3/4 from Brooklyn in hte regular season ( I know its regular season), but in all 4 games, Chicago was missing players (Noah for 2, Gibson for 2, Deng for 1, Hinrich for 2) and Brooklyn was completely healthy.

Right now the Bulls are the healthiest they've been all season save for Noah. Noah will probably play but have limited minutes. I still think the Bulls can win that series against the Nets with Noah hobbled. They match up perfectly with them. They can throw Butler or Deng on Deron, and even if Lopez goes off, he went off in all 4 regular season games, and it didn't really have an impact.

As for Memphis, I beleive they will play much better than theyy did last year. They know their identity: the same one in 2011 when they upset the Spurs. They won't have Gay competing with Randolph and Gasol for shots. Tony Allen is back to playing at a high level.

I'd pick both the Bulls and Grizzlies to win in 6.

The Thunder are going to absolutely abuse the Rockets.

The game the lost against them was by far the sloppiest and worst final 7-8 minutes the Thunder played all season.

I agree with this. I think Chicago and Memphis both advance.

Media in Chicago, as well as nationally, has ruled it out, but the players haven't. Sources inside the Bulls practices over the past 2 weeks says he looks like the "old" Derrick Rose.

But who knows really. At this point, I'm assuming hes out.

If he really is the "old" Derrick Rose, I want him to come back. There are no guarantees in this league. Regardless of which way you look at it, hes lost a season. How will this injury affect his prime years in the NBA?

If hes really dominating inside practice, he should play.
