Twice today I hollered at the TV for the singer to just sing the song. Quit screwing it up. My wife thought I had lost my mind until she figured out what I was mad about.
The singers try to be a show, when in reality they are keeping the show from happening by screwing up the anthem. Quite all the jerrymandering of the melody. Dadgummit!

"hollering" during the national anthem is very disrespectful IMO

Well you see, I was through with my national anthem, so it wasn't disrespectful on my part as I was finished.
Do you stand at attention at home when they sing the national anthem? If you are going to call me disrespectful, I think you should always stand up, at home or not, while the anthem is playing. We can't go around being disrespectful now can we?
